Stop Afghan War...

After the Tet offensive in 1968,it was clear to most Americans that we were in a limited and un-winnable war and at the same time supporting a corrupt government. After Tet,it took another five years and the deaths of 35,000 more Americans before we pulled out of that mess (Nam). Yet here we are, once again waging war against an unseen enemy, while supporting a corrupt government. It's time to end all military operations in Afghanistan. This is no longer a "just" war.

It sucks, we put ourselves in a tough spot. I'm just praying for our guys (and gals) to get home soon and safely.

I disagree with almost everything you are saying. Do you think we can just up and leave and that is it? really, you don't believe that these people will be in the United States and other countries within months of our departure and ready to blow up trains or any other high visibility target. This was is going to be a hard one to "End" but we need to be sure we have crippled the key players first not only in AFG but many other countries you don't read about on a regular basis. Remember if we weren't over here fighting for you, you may find yourself fighting back home. Remember the fallen, they gave their lives willingly, their families are the ones who pay the ultimate sacrifice. Respect that.

Respect is something you earn, and I respect all military that's over in that shit hole. All I'm saying is get the hell out before we end up having 58,000 killed as we did in nam.Seems we have "crippled" quite afew key players.Instead of being in Afghanistan, our military could patrol our borders here in the USA.I salute all our fallen and my heart goes out to each and every one of their loved ones.
