Horseback riding is my passion. I've only been riding for 3 years off and on but I love horses. No matter how many times I fall, get stepped on or thrown, I will always get back on and ride ;) Any other horseback riders out there? I haven't been back in a while because of money issues but I miss it so much.

Why don't you just lease a horse instead? Then the farm will take care of everything and you can just ride. I'm pretty sure that's how it works as long as there's a farm that you can lease the horse from.

I love to ride. Last time I rode was on a caribbean cruise, my wife and I went horseback riding in Saint Martin. Actually got to ride the horses into the ocean, it was fantastic! I think I have a couple pics, I'll try and post them on my profile page.

I don't think anybody does that out here. The only place I know of is Shaver Lake & the horses there are pretty retired.
    So jealous Mike!!!

Lol, I had a quarter horse that absolutely hated men (she'd try & knock them to the ground & stomp them), whenever we were fighting I'd let her off lead. He was trapped in his house once for 2 days. I know I'm a mean bitch but it was funny!!!!

LOL! Please, let me know the location of this horse. I have a few guys she should "meet" ;D

Ah yes, the days of yore. I'm too brittle to ride now. The last days of my horse was spent grazing and being lazy, like me. haha! Old age put my horse down. It was fun to ride though. His name was Boogie and he was a quarter horse & thoroughbred mix stood 16 hands and very gentle with kids.

I've been riding since I was 4, so for about 18 years now. Unfortunately I don't get to ride as much as I used to. Before college I had four horses and almost every night was spent at the barn, and every weekend at the shows. I miss it so much and have been trying to get back into it. I sold the last horse I had last year because I'd rather know that they are getting the attention that I couldn't really give them. I'm looking at buying one this summer and hopefully get back into showing next season.

Plus it has always been fun when I show up to the shows. I was riding at nationally ranked hunter/jumper shows where a lot of the people are rich, snobs. I get so many looks when they see my tattoos and piercings, and even more when I kicked their butts. =)

I grew up with horses. First rode at 2 and just love riding. We always had horses and thought it was really odd when I would go to friends houses and they wouldn't have a horse.I try to ride every other weekend and thankfully my son loves them too.

I've fallen off about 5 times. My teacher once said that if you fall off 7 times, you're a good rider. I don't know where she got that from. A lot of guys think that girls horseback riding is hot haha
