I carried the sketch for this around in a briefcase for 10 years before finally getting it. The Thumper is me--it's a nickname--and the puddle is chronic pain, losing my father in law, losing friends, a brain tumor... Still, ya gotta love life, even when the puddle seems pretty freaking awful.
