HAIDA FROG: My 1st tat

HAIDA FROG: My 1st tat

An adaptation of an 1874 Haida Indian (Pacific NW) tattoo. The appeal of this tat was its authenticity, the design, and the symbolism. In Haida culture frogs were revered for their ability to transform themselves and inhabit the world of land and water and by analogy the realm of the world and the spirit. Good qualities for humans to be reminded of. Done by Brian Donovan, Mercury Tattoo, Glenside, PA
