My mom passed away a month ago, in August, from Stage IV Breast Cancer. I got this tattoo in April and she was the one that actually designed it. She wasn't too keen on the idea of me getting another one, especially on my shoulder, but now I have a physical reminder of my mother everyday. I love it! I didn't just want an ordinary ribbon, so that is the reason for the dragonfly.
