My Yahweh Tattoo

These are the ancient Hebrew letters YHWH, often referred to as the Tetragram. Scholars believe the word was pronounced Yaw-way. It is the holy name of God first revealed to Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 3:13), before Moses led the Jews out of Egypt. When God appeared as a burning bush and ordered Moses to free his people, Moses asked for God's name, so he could tell the Israelites. God said, "I Am who I Am," which translates to YHWH.

It's on my ring finger to remind me that God comes before any man, and any man who wants my heart, will have to go through him to get it.

I LOVE how bold this was! I'm getting "My Beloved's" in Hebrew on my ring finger. I wanna be buried so deep in Father's heart that whomever would find themselves interested in me would need to have been digging deep enough into Father's heart to even find me to begin with. Yesh indeed, 'tis the safest place to be.
