  well i managed to get my stars extended so it is higher up than before and i am planning to get three small stars on my shoulder. Planning to go to Majorca in september time permitting to get a really big one on my thigh as the tattooist out there is pretty amazing with detailed work. Shame you never got to get your arm finished would have been really nice to see that. Do you know when you go back home for good?

  I am getting realy excited about getting it done! just hope it looks really nice. Yeah its all about owning an ipod i dont know where i would be without my one, especially as i travel alot for work i have loads of south park cartoons on mine as well as my music. i am enjoying chatting back and forth as well!! certainly helps to take my mind of things! Im looking forward to seeing your new work once you get it done. not long to go!!

  no he got medically dishcharged during AIT. just the army being the army, as im sure you've experienced. got hurt 3 weeks into basic, changed his MOS from 68w to 35g, spent 3 months in ft huachuca getting clearance only for his sgt to realize he didn't have a permanent profile so he couldn't get outa jump school and ft benning lost his pprs, so he was gonna be discharged in a month, 2 months later after they lost the pprs again his luitenant freaked and he was on a plane home. but everyone whose graduated the class he would have been in was deployed 36 days later and his friend has already been killed.

  so, yea, long story lol.

  he left 3 weeks after our baby was born adn 2 weeks after we got married, so i've got alot of respect for families keeping it together, i was a single mom still in high school who was practically stalking the mailman for letters when he was in BT and it was hard. but i know it's even harder for you boys, you miss so much of your kid's lives!

  just got my first real job, im a vet tech, got a son and my hubbs was in the army just long enough to miss out on elliot's first 7 months. not a military brat but almost every man besides my father in my life has been military. so you're not planing on going 26 years? lol i wouldn't either. 3 deployments? thats tough, you guys must be a stong family to stay together!

  well lets hope you get on that flight tomorrow, nothing worse than being stuck somewhere when all you want to do is go home! Bloody good thing you have access to the internet, what would you have been doing if that wasn't there??? Planning to go to Mallorca in the next few weeks to get my stars extended up towards my stomach/ribs! Just emailed the tattoist out there to see when would be good for him! Looking forward to it!

  ah man you must be well pissed.... i would be. I got stuck in a snow storm this year in canada! so know how it feels to be stuck in a storm of some sort. Any ideas when you will be able to make your way home?

  18 days is better than nothing i guess. i am seriously considering a cover up as a friend of mine was telling me not to get the removal as she had it done a few years back and she spent over a grand and in the end she got more tattoos to cover up the white marks left on her skin!! i have no idea what to get as a cover up still thinking about it!

  LOL...actually the stars didnt hurt that much. My theme on my back started out as a fantasy but i f**ked it up with the stupid flower in the middle! So now thinking of a huge cover up or try and get it removed. You only get to go home for 18 days..thats rubbish...but i guess 18 days is better than no days!

  wow a full sleeve...won't the under part of your arm really hurt though? What are you thinking to get done.... How long you been out in Iraq? How long you going home for? You must be really looking forward to going home...
