I NEED ALL THE INFO ON CHEST PIECE

So on November 16th I have an appointment to get my 5th tattoo which will be on my chest area it's going to be roses in shades of pink going all the way across my chest the artist told me it will take 3 possibly 4 sittings and will cost approximatley $150 a session!
I am not sure how the pain is on the chest area and I am very scared & nervous about it so please help me out and tell me any info that you guys know on the subject!

well it all depends on the person really. like my arm pit tattoo didnt hurt me at all i fell asleep. but some ppl cant stand more than 30 sec getting that tatt. so its all about the person and pain tolarence

I did my chest piece in an eight hour session. It stretches all the way across my chest. This was done without breaks (except for the artist.). The worst part for me, was when he had to put his forearm across my throat, to do the rest of the tattoo, but the tattoo itself, I found to be like any other tattoo. It didn't bother me at all.

Thanks guys and I mean I have 4 tats but always seem to get my arms tattooed!
My a7x bracelet tattoo on my right wrist was my first one, my second was my memorial tattoo on my lower inner right arm, my 3rd was my motley crue sola tat on my lower inner left arm, and my 4th was my black butterfly on my inner right wrist and my black butterfly hurt the worst out of all my tats combined! -
And the artist told me the reason why my tat needs a few sessions is because of the details and colors I want plus the artists don't like working on me for more than 2hours a session because i'm anemic

my dragon chest piece has over 20 different colors blended into it, but I knew the guy, so he did mine from start to finish in that one long session. Unfortunately he moved to Texas, and I haven't found a tattooist willing to do more than 2hours at a time. My back piece has taken me a year, and I am still working on it.

personally...I have found my chest ok...but round the nipple was harsh....but youll not be veering near there missus!!!

alot of people have said that the sternum is sore and the collarbone also....yet again each to their own...but i myself nearly fell asleep through those!!

Dave is right....the nipple is harsh! Why do you think my dragon looks like it wants to devour my nipple on one side and the other side, the tail curls around it, instead of going through it? lol

my chestpiece was 3 sessions (last session was on my birthday 2 years ago) and didn't hurt. It does depend on the person's pain tolerance

i have a rose over my left breast near my collar bone check it out in my tattoo section didnt hurt at all ...But it did bruise a bit thou and that was a first for me ....But pain was fine xxx

like everyone has said its in your pain tolerance...everyone is different...my advice would be don't get yourself all worked up about it ...I did that when I started my ribs and afterward realized it wasn't all that bad....being that u already have tattoos I think u will be fine.

The parts that hurt the most for me were sternum and towards the shoulder. Boob area was kind of sensitive and I barely felt anything towards the collar bone. I don't know how many sessions I've had because I always decide to add more to it. $150 an hour is pretty steep, so I hope that person does some amazing work.

well to be honest chest isnt too too bad, jus in tha middle gets intense. below tha chest is what ya gotta worry about. lol im not too sure on shading yet but my outline 3 hours... 3 hundo. 2 more to go, shading and color... good luck.

I have 60 hours into my back piece and if there is a lot of detail the outline has to heal before you can start the color, I would love to get a chest piece so I will be real interested in how it turns out for you. The pain also depends on how heavy handed the artist is. I was real lucky with the guy that did my back. I am starting a half sleeve tomorrow and have never got anything on my arm. good luck and make sure to share some pics as it is getting done

Chest isn't too bad til you get to the nipple area. Haha, yeah, I side with Rizzo, below the chest area, hurts like a bitch, vearing down towards the ribs. That's what sucked for me. But I guess everyone has their own pain tolerances. I just finished mine two days ago. But chest isn't too bad, don't worry about it.

I fond the only part on my chest tatts that bothered me were when thy got down th bottom parts but really didnt hurt that much at all with me i dont think abt there being any pain i think abt somthing else well its going on an be for u no it there all done for me its like am there but my mind its good luck cant wait to c it

cant say that the chest hurt there were some areas that were a little sensitive but it wasnt all that bad last session involved good music good artist and an afternoon nap
