I was a skater/football player, & raced motocross through Highschool. I love Extreme sports. My dad's a biker He rides a badass harley & used to race super stock 1/4 mile drag racing. He has both arms sleeved. He was the coolest cause he had tattoos, my friends always told me. So I got my first one when I was 15 from my friends cousin with a homemade gun. a Mickeys hornet on the inside of my forearm. I was the only sophmore to have a tatt that was exposed, some of the teachers wanted me to put a band aid over it to cover it up while I was in their class, I rebelled. I was proud of my ink, i wasn't gonna cover it up for nobody, so off to the office I went, the asst. principal calls my dad in for a meeting about my disrespectful behavior, he called it. my dad rides his bike over to the school walks in, the asst. prin. looks at him, looks at me, the fear and intimidation on his face was priceless. He says I don't have a problem with tattoos but some of the teachers do, & have asked your son to cover his up while in there class, & he has refused, so he has been sent to the office for refusing to do so. my dad laughs, says " are you kidding me" Mr kenrick says " well some teachers find it distracting & mildly offensive". Dad says"I have tattoos am I distracting you from doing your job, or offending you in any way?" No sir he says & tells me to go back to class & what was said after I left I'll never know, but I'm pretty sure my dad got his point across. I still think about that day & laugh. It sucks that people with authourity are so quick to judge & critisize some one because they take pride in their tattoos, man! It's just my opinion, but I think thats why our society & government are so fuct up sometimes, I'm proud to be american & i love tattoos & could careless what other people think about mine.I plan on getting a full backpiece, both sleeves,chest plates & both legs from the knees down. & thats my story!
