A lot of people ask me so I thought I would send out a bulletin to help here it goes
If you go to edit profile at the bottom right hand corner you will see this text follow the link and they will give you some backgrounds to use or you can get a image (google images are a good source) and insert your image instead . Here is the test I talked about
You can customize the style of your profile page by adding HTML/CSS code into the box. Your custom code will be merged with your profile page.

just a heads up, and maybe it's just me and my pc(like the song me and my arrow-nilsson, remember?lol)anyways, I digress:
after you have found your background and had the generator well, generate the code, control c it, BUT be sure to CLOSE the generator...for somereason, at least for me, I couldnt get the background to merge, and I sorta "stumbled" upon the deal of closing the generator and bam, there it was...I tested this theroy for quite a few pics of all kinds, and it worked each time I dumped the generator before merging...anyway, maybe it's just becasue I'm a tuna, I dunno, but if you have any problems merging your background, try this, probably will work, unless, of course, you all know this already in which case I am preachin to the chior, lol.... -
