I've REALLY started getting into them more this past year (not having cable for 7 months didn't hurt! ;) I'm a big baby when it comes to horror/suspense/etc... it's ridiculous 'cause I LOVE a good mystery- something that keeps you guessing, keeps you on edge ("Se7en", "The Gift", "The Others", etc) but I freak myself out! I HATE feeling jumpy, so I tend not to watch a lot of those... Someone promises to help me work on it ;) Some of my FAVORITES from my movie collection: Anything by Quentin Tarantino! Especially: Kill Bill I & II, and Death Proof (part of the GrindHouse Double Feature) Kevin Smith also Rocks- Particularly Clerks I & II, and Dogma. Robert Rodriguez catches my interest also- loved Sin City (which Tarantino worked on him with), and the El Mariachi, Desparado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico Trio of movies, and of course Planet Terror (the other half of the Grindhouse Double Feature). I like some Mel Brooks Flicks- like Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs. I've seen Super Troopers a billion times and it still makes me laugh (Beerfest is definetly funny too- but it just can't compare!), Donny Darko- watch it!, Kung Fu Hustle and Crank were good- both don't really have a plot but I prefer no plot to a bad plot! OFFICE SPACE!!! Ok- that's plenty! I'll Stop Now!!!
"American Gods" by Neil Gaiman. blew my mind- loved it! "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. Xanth series is good to- fun light reading...
I love music. it sort of rules my life. i have no talent for making it myself, but i love to dance. I find that the majority of moments in my life are accompanied by music... i think the only time it's not on when it's my choice is if i'm watching a movie... I listen to everything but country- I love hip-hop/rap. anything with a good beat. Ludacris is awesome. DMX, Run DMC, Notorious BIG. all make for food dancing times... and i like Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Korn, Nine Inch Nails... they're are all good... i have a deep-seeded love for older artists/bands like, Heart, Alice Cooper, AC/DC, Blondie...
