I love all my tattoos. They are all symbolic of certain events and stages in my life. I got my first tattoo while serving in the Army. The eyes of Horus to watch my back, to make sure I returned home safely. Shortly after I met the love of my life I had Froggy Pieces put on my arm to always have him with me, even when we were out on missions. He was killed on a mission that was supposed to be mine...two weeks before we were going to get married. I brought his body home to his parents and had the Memorial Tattoo put over my heart. I went back overseas for a few months, and then was sent home for good. I decided on the Skull Spider because I truly do believe that I am poisonous, and that no one should get too close to me. Got home to take care of my dying grandmother, who has passed away now and to take care of my family. Shaved my head in my grief and it's finally grown back to my shoulders almost a year later. I'm trying to decide on the best memorial tattoo for my grandmother. She was strength and goodness. I have always associated butterflies and roses with her, but I'm not exactly a butterfly and rose kinda girl. I'm thinking more along the lines of a pheonix rising on the middle of my back toward the eyes. Still going to get the pheonix, but had to accept the signs and get the butterfly on my wrist. I was still undecided and a butterfly lands on my shoulder outside the shop....as if I needed a bigger sign than that =D
