I saw U2 YEARS ago ,when they touring with "The Joshua Tree" tour ! It was only in The King's Hall in belfast and I had 2 attend on crutches - but , needless 2 say , they were well worth it !!

As for Hendrix - yes - he was totally awesome , but , if asked the question,even a musical ignoramus wud say "Hendrix",simply because that's the one they have only heard of !!

Sorry, kinda nicked your idea for my bulletin! I've been trying to mentally compile a list of the 10 greatest rock singers of all time for ages. It would be easier if new bands would stop popping up!
I agree completely with Hendrix and May in your list, both greats. I'd probably also add Page (who inspired my Gibson tattoo) and Vai (although I know Vai isn't everyone's taste and he isn't always mine either - I still think he's good though!). I admire Ex-Whitesnake's guitarists Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody as well having seen them live and met them a few times. Talented and approachable.

Well really enjoyed the concert and dont wanna rub in more but only missed on tour the last 25 years....saw them 13 times now and they still manage to amaze me.
Guitarists again....I also like Satriani, Frank Zappa( shut up and play yer guitar) Angus Young, Steve Vai, Jimmy Page.
Getting more and more complicated...lol

Hmmm.... to be honest I never really paid that much attention to the guitarist... my attention was always drawn to the drummer! But I have to say Hendrix is the one that impressed me the most when I heard how he flipped the guitar.... that was him right?! lol!!

ermmm i never taught of that .. lets see , chris holmes on lead guitar , blackie lawless from w.a.s.p also has a great voice he's amazing on soft rock , then i like the basist of GnR and the drummer of acdc ,, but for a vocalist , there is a large list of good vocalists , theres ozzy , blackie lawless , axle rose ecc...
