Not yet ... my mom has ink close to and said it got more sensitive in that area ... she actually is getting the top of her foot done and said it was pretty bad ... my worst was near the armpit under my arm ... almost had the artist stop but gritted my teeth and kept going .. lol ... I thought if he gives me time to think about coming back I may not ... but you'll be ok ... do it in small sessions ..

I think it would be painful..not much muscle there....as for the ribs...mine weren't nearly as bad as I thought they would be..the worst was on the edge of them and were the design went down near my kidneys.....top of my foot wasn't bad eithor ...I guess it has to do with your pain thresh hold...people handle pain differently.

The top of the foot isn't really that bad. I'm considering getting my other done... need more input. Keep in mind most women have a higher threshold for pain than men, though. That whole childbearing nonsense. Ha! I heard the TOP of the knee is worse than the underneath? Good luck and just imbrace the pain. ; )

Well I did get about 60 hours of work on my back my lower back hurt the most, I do have a tattoo on the front and it wasn't that bad but the bending did make it take longer to heal and I felt it when I moved. Well I will just have to try and report back

    ;-)

Brian is right on that ... my inner elbow took forever to heal because of the bending and the moistness .. but I look at it this way ... so many people have done it so this to me means it isn't impossible ... don't get yourself worked up .. thats half the battle ... good luck and I want to see when your done ..

The vines on the back of my knees were tough....pain and very hard to control the reflexes so I didnt kick the artist......not easy to heal either.

Like I tell everyone, just take a few pain killers have a drink and relax.. I got rose in the ditch of my left arm that took almost 3 hours alone.. Completely sober it's probably gonna be miserable. Try to keep your leg straight otherwise you might get a scab that will never want to stay closed. I try not to think about it and just get the peice.. Once u start there's no going back lol

I had some work done on the back of my leg yesterday, from the top of the calf to the arse cheek. I would have to say that the line work behind the knee was not that great and the bit of shading that has been done there was more pain full than some other spots. I did get in to a rhythm though, and in the end I was fine. The way I look at it is once it is done, that is it (but I know in the next sitting to finish the piece there will be more work there.

Go to drug store and ask for "LET Gel". It has lidocaine in it so it will nimb the pain for a while. It is over the counter in most civilized countries.
