TATTOOS IN THE WRONG CATEGORY

so yeah we here at COMI.COM are aware of all the pics that are being added to the wrong category and we are working on that.
the basic principle of the site is to tag and categorize your work/ink correctly to make it EASIER to find... not to be put where it doesnt belong for the sake of getting more profile views or hit to your work.. i think that if your work is BOMB then people will see it and click on it... if all you want is some extra attention well you got it and as soon as we get done cleaning up the mess i would HOPE that you all would have some respect for the site and for its members to keep this site flowing the way its supposed to. this site is yours as much as it is ours!

im guilty of it, at first i didnt know how or what to tag it so i either didnt tag it at all and left it in "other" or tagged the shit out of it.......(hangs his head in shame) will try to do better... promise

yep, not only that, what about all the drawings and designs and pics in the tattoo section that should be in profile pics instead!!!!!!!

well its not up to us here at COMI.COM to tell people where to upload their stuff..
to some its more obvious to others where certain pics go..
i used to tell people where and how to do all that, but people have a mind of their own and will do as they please..
for now we here at COMI.COM do have control of changing all those pics that are in the wrong category and what not, but we wont go in peoples profiles to change pics in their upload section.. tattoo or profile pics.. we arent trying to invade anyones privacy... just trying to do what we can to give people what they come to the site for...
if you find that you are guilty of mistagging and miscategorizing your pics, please edit them yourself for us..
we have tons on our hands as it is.

I'm glad you brought this up because it's one of the main reasons that I left inkednation. I'm really hoping that this community is a little more organized. For instance, I see all kinds of stuff under the traditional category that definitely doesn't belong there. Sometimes I'm not sure if people know what the category terms mean in reference to their ink...? Perhaps brief descriptions would help.
At the same time, I'm pretty fed up with people having photos of other people's ink/body or someone else artwork in their "My Tattoos" sections. I'm not suggesting that the content be monitored, but if there's some artist's airbrushed painting of a half-naked, fully-tattooed vampire chick in a castle in his "My Tattoos" gallery, it's obviously misplaced.
