Holding Ink

So I seem to have an issue holding ink. I get so jealous seeing others with these brilliant colors and detail. After a while my tats seem to fade and lose detail (almost like they go fuzzy). Any thoughts on this from artists or others......is it just my skin, the inks the technique? I want more but I am hesitant for fear of them turning out faded.

I will say that I do take care of my tats, I am not in the sun with them, I heal well, they just start looking bad after a couple years.

Are you always going to the same artist ? Some skin does take colour better than others.. for lots of reasons .. age, pigmentation, sun exposure, moisture content etc There will always be some 'movement' of the ink as it never dries un der your skin, it kinda 'grows with you'. Maybe you're just expecting too much from the ink ? It's very hard to pinpoint exactly why this would occur. I use Bepanthan to heal my ink.. but also use it to keep the colours bright, even years after.. just a tiny bit goes a long way, use too much too often and you can end up with pimples and sores, also dependant on your skin type.

not putting down the artist, cant say without seeing the tat, but if he went too deep into the skin, into the layer where the fat cells are generated, then the cells could be spreading the ink. again just a suggestion, hard to determine without pic.

Several things can affect the out come of your tattoo......Artist error, too much sun exposure......and improper aftercare procedures......any one or all could be the problem.....but i can'n say for sure without seeing the tattoo.

BASICALLY ITS THE APPLICATION THAT MAKES FALLOUT
SERIOUSLY,BACK IN THE DAY WE USED TO DRY HEAL,HEAVY SCAB AND ALL..........EVERYTHING STAYED
TODAYS COLORS WILL NOT STAND THAT PRESSURE BUT I DIO BELIEVE ITS ALL IN THE APPLICATION
