A little bit far-fetched, eh Edlokien!?

I seriously doubt they'll be riots because he wins the election. Just look at his predecessor; George W. Bush. No assassination attempts (to my knowledge). He spearheaded the worst government political party known to mankind. Hell, he even got away clean with two elections, that means 8 solid years of dragging this country through shit and back. I tell you what, whether it be Obama or Clinton 'winning' this years election will only be a fresh breathe for the States. They have alot of cleaning up to do after Bush is out of the office. They are aware of that. We all agree that the time of times is now, we're ready for change.

True, True Bush made it 4 years with no assassination attempts but then again he's working for the guys who would assassinate him. Kennedy for example is the closest president i can relate Obama with. Kennedy knew what was up, he knew the system was a fucked up organization and was ready to change the way for America, and he was silenced. I just can't help but picture something like that happening again.

You both have your points and that can be seen. Just remember some of the shit that happened during Bush's terms was all from Cliton's term. Once a president makes a policy it doesnt take affect until the next term.

And as for the assassination goes for there are many people that dont want to see a black man in office nor a woman in office. There are many people who still believe that the president should only be a white man. Now as for me I think you MUST serve in the US Military before even being able to run for any position in the US goverenment. And I know there are a lot of people feel the same way about it. Neither have served so for me I hope they fall falt on their faces and McCain wins the whole thing.

Yes McACain. He fits the requirements that a real president should have. How can you expect a person to run a country and the Armed Forces if he/she never served in the military. They have no clue what we (the military) need to be ready at all times let alone the hardships that we face. At least with Bush we got pay raises and funding for new housing. So YES McCain is my choice. Pro Military gets my vote!

I was enlisted in the US Army for 8 years (Almost entirely under Clinton... Bosnia, Kosovo, Herzagonia, Somalia, Colombia, etc. were the big conflict spots then.) Bush was in the fucking National Guard, dodging & doing cocaine during Vietnam. And for the record: Eisenhower was a pretty awesome "War President" despite the fact he was crippled by polio... and a non-vet.
    1) Bush is a war monger. He JUST SO HAPPENS to be an oil billionaire, is tied to the Saudis, and we're fighting a war of oil... odd coincidence?
    2) Nobody can come up with a SINGLE legitimate reason we're in Iraq, OR Afghanistan. The WMD argument was exposed as bullshit, the "Saddam is linked to the 911 attack" is complete garbage... (And now he's dead anyways!) and more likely than not, 9/11 was organized by OUR government. And the idea that the US government gives a shit about ANYTHING other than war profits, and seizing the oil rights in the middle east... is a joke.) If McCain get into office, it's another 4 years of a deficit-causing war, causing more US casualties, and making TRILLIONS for the "powers that be".
    3) The Republican party has single handedly fucked up more areas of our government in the past 8 years than can be calculated for a LONG time. (Don't give me the BS about "The former presidents policies only take effect until the following term" either! Regan & Bush Sr. had economically run us into the ground with military spending, and it was only after A LOT of necessary cutbacks that Clinton had us in the biggest SURPLUS in US history. (And with this current war in Iraq, Bush has delivered a DEFICIT that will take 2 generations to climb out of... Not to mention REX-84, The "Real I.D." act, The insane changes amended into the "Patriot Act" (Note: The most dangerous, most unconstitutional document ever written in the US!), the failing "No Child Left Behind" Act (Note: DESTROYING public education!), highest gas prices in history (While fighting an OIL WAR!), Killing our reputation (foreign policy) amongst our allies, The "North American Union" Act (This will destroy the American dollar, corrupt our economy, and erase the middle class!)... Check out the Euro vs. the British Pound. The plan is for "The Amero" between the US, Canada, and MEXICO for Christsake!!!!!!

If you're not aware of these HUGE mistakes (Or what they are, do some reading, STOP WATCHING NETWORK NEWS, and open your eyes instead of regurgitating what the media is feeding you!)

    is it true???

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton on Monday said her opponent Barack Obama may be getting a little ahead of himself in acting like the party's nominee before the final contests of the primary season are over.

Clinton and Obama are still set to face off in several more primaries, including two in Kentucky and Oregon on Tuesday, but Obama has been increasingly portraying himself as the nominee already facing Republican John McCain. Obama has scheduled appearances later this week in Iowa and Florida as he looks ahead to the swing states in the general election.

"You can declare yourself anything, but if you don't have the votes, it doesn't matter," Clinton said Monday in a satellite interview with an Oregon television station before a campaign appearance in Kentucky.

The former first lady trails Obama in the delegate count by such a margin that it is mathematically unlikely for her to overtake him in the remaining primaries, which end June 3 with Montana and South Dakota.

But both candidates have been angling to win over the party leaders and elected officials known as superdelegates, whose support will likely determine the nominee.

Clinton has been making her case to the superdelegates by casting herself as the more tested and experienced Democrat with a better chance of beating McCain in November.

She said Monday that she is the "more progressive candidate" and dismissed the hype surrounding Obama that results in the large crowds like the record rally of an estimated 65,000 he drew in Portland on Sunday afternoon.

Clinton said Obama, who has refused to debate her since they last faced off just before the Pennsylvania primary last month, would "rather just talk to giant crowds than have questions asked."

Later, while speaking to several hundred people in a high school gymnasium, Clinton picked up her campaign's argument that Obama's victories in states that had caucuses instead of primaries are somehow less significant because turnout was lower.

Clinton also revived her pitch that many of the states where he has beaten her, like Alaska, Idaho and Utah, matter less because they would not be competitive for Democrats in November. Anybody "who's really analyzing this" should come to the same conclusions, she said.

"So I'm going to make my case and I'm going to make it until we have a nominee, but we're not going to have one today and we're not going to have one tomorrow and we're not going to have one the next day," Clinton said. "And if Kentucky turns out tomorrow, I will be closer to that nomination because of you."

Clinton needs to wake up, and step down. (She's now doing more damage to her "own party" by splitting the Democrats!)
I wouldn't be surprised if that's the plan... It does look like her "old foes" are suddenly supporting her.... The best way to get McCain in office is to split the party... The Republicans would then only need to defeat HALF of the Democrats.

It's a fixed race anyway. We just need to wait and see who BIG BUSINESS wants in office!

A monarchy, or aristocracy can be a great idea if the individual elected isn't secretly a piece of shit... (Hell, we actually tried to FORCE George Washington to become our KING... He was of course frustrated by how stupid people were being, and explained that one of his future offspring could easily become worse than anyone in England!) You must always presume that from his progeny, students, or followers: Eventually there will be a tyrant.

Hell, even communism looks great on paper... the problem begins when you have to have a "person in charge" dividing the wealth!

I think Democracy is the best option for us, but there are a few things to remember:

    1) Democracy works for SOME not ALL. (We must stop forcing it on others... "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink"
    2) "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely." this country wasn't entirely founded because of the need for "religious freedom" but on "financial freedom" as well. Overbearing taxes, and the "Rich controlling everything" were equally vexing. But after only 144 years: It happened again... The IRS was formed from private banking, and the federal Reserve was formed. We've been fucked since.

    is it enough to vote?

do we have to start thinking more globally and forget the "nationalism thinking" ?

what can we do to make things going beter?

how many people do you think really belive in the system we have now

    what is really important...?
what questions do you wish to have answered , what problem to be solved ?

    so...just forget WHO'S the next...
tell me WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE CHANGING

    more money?
    Security?
    freedom?

We are at a point in our history where things will only change under EXTREME circumstances.

    1) We would have to dismantle "privatized media" (As long as they have an agenda, the people will never hear facts.)

    2) We need to revolutionize our education system. (The US is quickly slipping into the "short bus" area, and it's getting worse at ALL levels... Kindergarten through University.)

    3) We need a flat Or "Universal tax"... (15% REGARDLESS of income, or credits.)

    4) Secure our OWN boarders by withdrawing from foreign soil. (A 5 year strategy could have 90% of our forces home, and cut our military spending into a mere fraction of current levels.) "Trade with ALL, alliance with none."
    - George Washington

    5) FREE Universalized Health care: The government should provide FREE basic, essential, and emergency medicine by utilizing volunteers & 1st year residents. (If you want "The Best Doctors", you can pay for it!)

    6) Initialize a "GREEN INITATIVE". This would offer tax breaks, grants, lower loan rates, and bonuses for corporations, & individuals who implement non-fossil fuel, or eco-friendly purchases and upgrades to homes or vehicle.

    7) A few things that will never pass, that I'd like to see: Kill the immensely-rich. Use illegal aliens for labor on government projects. Utilize Death-row inmates and the elderly to fight wars. LOL!

The military does pretty much already do that minus the killing of the rich. But they do use host country nations to do the projects and I have proof of that one. We are use Turkish Nations to redo the entrance way at my work and they are pretty much 3rd world over here and their workmanship sucks ass. Back in the states all jobs are done by the lowest bider! Which means poor quality and anyone can be on the job.

Now no matter what type of government we use or "have" at the moment there will always be some rich bastard at the top of the mountain waving his/her flag! In my eyes we should kill who ever wants the power and give it all to the military. Im not just saying that because I am in the military but I say it because they knows what it takes to have the power and they know how to use in a proper manner. The military has to follow more rules than any cilivian has to and there are greater punishment for us if we comment the same crime as a cilivian does. Like I have said in a different thread FUCK POLITICS because ITS ALL BULLSHIT! The American public doesnt control shit and are blinded by the lies of the media!
